Putting OCA With A High Precision Universal OCA Laminating Mold

As a cellphone repairperson, have you ever failed to paste a new OCA on a new piece of front glass as it’s hard for you to align the position? Or you’re tired from it because it took you a long time to do it?

Due to solve these problems, FORWARD has researched and developed a set of mold, that is an Universal OCA Laminating Mold, it’s suitable for all edge and flat screens, even for apple watch. This mold literally improves your repair work efficiency and it’s so easy to align the position when putting OCA.

Now, let’s see the OCA putting operation steps.

First, we should prepare a set of Universal Laminating Mold, a new touch screen and a new piece of OCA.

Second, put the touch screen on the bottom mold.

Third, place a new OCA on the touch screen.

Here do not need to tear off the protector film of OCA. It doesn’t paste on the touch screen and you can move the OCA around until you get the right place.

Fourth, place the upper mold on the bottom one and press it so that the OCA is sucked on the upper mold.

Fifth, use an easy pull tape to tear off the protector films of touch screen and OCA.

Finally, we put this whole set of mold into the lamination machine for laminating.

For the whole process, we only set vacuum time to 30s and laminate time to 10s. The entire process just spent 40s.

Once done, we take out the mold and check out the touch screen with OCA.

Under the yellow light, we can see OCA’s position is exactly overlap with the touch screen.

The OCA lamination is very accurate. The mold is very easy to laminate precisely and the whole operation is very simple.
